Here at Unique Designing, we take pride in our self customization. Fiberglass ponds are made custom fit to order. They can be made in any size, shape, width, depth, and in odd spots. These ponds are made on site to your style and taste. This is a lifetime pond that doesn’t need to be replaced unlike a rubber liner which usually gets made into Swiss cheese from large birds such as cranes and herons, not to mention game as in raccoons, dogs, and cats. Fiberglass ponds are the ultimate in number #1 pond construction because they last. Nothing can hurt it. No need to worry about sharp rocks tearing it like you would if you were using a rubber liner. It is virtually indestructible and I highly recommend it as a contractor especially, if you will be investing in a hobby such as Koi fish or for family generations handed down. Fiberglass is the answer and the only recommendation I would make for the life and longevity of your pond enjoyment.

You may be asking how this whole process is conducted. First we measure the area and dig dimensions to the size you like. It is then covered with a type of boat plastic wrap this aids to hold the fiber material. This gives the base area to hold the fiber. Next fiberglass with mat type texture is laid. We then brush on the resin solution over the woven fiber once in place, it has to dry and cure.

Upon this step- we sand down and smooth out any imperfections from the liquid resin that had dried. Then it is painted with a gel coat and a rubber base paint.

After all these steps have been done and processed, next is the fine tuning of trimming the edges and texture, leveling of flat slat rock around the edges to give it, it’s naturalistic look, as if nature put it there.
You then, add in the waterfall if you so choose with its components of filter system and you then have your very own piece of paradise in your home - your oasis. Fill it up with water, add the fish, few plants, and you are complete. It takes approximately 3 weeks to complete, start to finish, and this may vary depending upon size of pond.

Below - This is another job where the owner moved his garage forward and the pond went inside the garage foundation. It was complete at a measurement of 25x I 5x4 feet deep, with filtration system, then he decked all around it with a railing for ease and comfort ability of viewing the fish. He entertained a lot.

We also carry free form, pre-made fiberglass ponds that are in various shapes such as: kidney, round, rectangle, bone, shell, island styles, etc. These do vary in sizes - up to 13 foot, depends on the type of pond you choose. Also, available is garden and pond fog systems, underwater and outdoor lighting, low voltage landscape lighting, and dwarf shrubs for botanical gardens.
